As a Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring accuracy for each guest order.
The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various cooking methods, including poaching, braising, roasting, charbroiling, sautéing, grilling, frying, and baking. Compensation:$21 - $30 hourly
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all workstations, cooking equipment, and storage areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure quality standards for ingredients such as meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy, along with proper storage and waste management practices.
- Prepare menu items by grilling, broiling, or sautéing according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor when interacting with guests, vendors, and team members.
- Organize food stations and ensure they are fully stocked for service.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both customers and colleagues.
- High school diploma or equivalent certification such as a GED is required.
- Understanding of kitchen sanitation, safety protocols, and food storage practices.
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.
