Job Title: Delivery Truck Driver

Vanguard Packaging is seeking a skilled Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a manual transmission tractor-trailer to deliver products to customers and adhering to state laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload finished products in or from trailers.
  • Inspect loads to ensure proper loading and accuracy.
  • Transport loads by required routes while observing traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Obtain shipping documents and return completed paperwork to the shipping office.
  • Complete daily reports, including production data, truck service data, safety data, and quality data.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass substance abuse screening according to company policy.
  • Ability to operate a tractor-trailer and prevent damage to materials and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the corrugated industry.
  • Experience as a licensed driver in the metropolitan area.
  • Experience as a forklift operator.
Work Environment:

The employee will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to high places, fumes, or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
