We are seeking a skilled Geriatrician to join our team at Summa Health System. As a Geriatrician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our elderly patients. Our Geriatric Medicine team is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care that addresses the unique needs of older adults.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing the health needs of our geriatric patients. This will involve conducting thorough medical evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care. Our Geriatricians work closely with our Geriatric Nurse Practitioners to provide coordinated care that meets the complex needs of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations of geriatric patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of older adults
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Work closely with Geriatric Nurse Practitioners to provide coordinated care
  • Participate in medical student, resident, and fellow education
Requirements
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Geriatric Medicine
  • Unrestricted Ohio License or willingness to obtain
  • Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment
