IT Specialist Job Summary

American Hardwood Industries is seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join their team in Waynesboro, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting end users with hardware and software systems, configuring PC systems, and installing software and patches. The position will also involve assisting the IT Director with administering servers, networks, and backup devices. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support end users with hardware and software issues
2. Configure PC systems, including installation of patches and configuration of peripheral devices
3. Assist the IT Director with server, network, and backup device administration
4. Perform occasional travel to support company operations

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
2. Experience administering VMWare and/or Hyper-V
3. Experience administering Windows Servers and Active Directory
4. Experience administering TCP/IP networks
5. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with end users
6. Database experience and programming skills are a plus
7. SAP and SCADA experience are a plus
