Role Summary:

The Digital Finance Team at Lantheus is seeking a proactive and motivated individual to oversee the maintenance and support of our financial planning systems, specifically SAP S4 HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This role is pivotal in assisting the FP&A team with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills and a passion for optimizing financial systems to enhance efficiency in a fast-paced corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the System Administrator for SAP Finance master data and the SAC financial planning application, ensuring optimal performance across all environments.
  • Implement, maintain, and update financial systems, including SAP S4/HANA (FI/CO) and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Assist in the implementation of new finance systems, support user testing, and develop standard and ad-hoc reports utilizing the SAC Excel add-in.
  • Comprehend essential finance Record to Report (RTR) processes and ensure compliance with accounting policies and GAAP standards.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and challenge existing practices.
  • Collaborate with various business units to gather ongoing requirements for enhancements to the planning applications.
  • Support the Finance & Accounting team in cross-functional implementations of new or improved financial systems.
  • Foster strong relationships with IT and finance teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Modify system configurations, automate reporting processes, and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within SAP/SAC systems to streamline reporting and business processes.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of the SAP/SAC application, including monitoring extract and load processes.
  • Maintain critical processes that support the consolidation and financial reporting functions.
  • Manage data integrations and perform validations from source systems to ensure accurate data flow.
  • Document current processes, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and create training materials.
  • Provide training and support to end users, acting as a liaison between finance and IT departments.
  • Generate clear and concise monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in financial reporting systems or Accounting Information Systems within an IT/Finance, FP&A, or Accounting context.
  • Experience with ERP implementations; familiarity with SAP and SAC is preferred.
  • Adept at working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of data management, systems configuration, and management reporting.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and their interrelationships.
  • Proficient in documentation practices.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Quick learner with strong analytical abilities and technical skills for handling large datasets.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with a commitment to teamwork, quality, and integrity.
