Our team participates in drug/product development and clinical trials, and we have the largest dermatology residency program approved by the American College of Veterinary Dermatology to support the training of the next generation of dermatologists.

About the Role

We are seeking a Veterinary Dermatology Care Specialist to join our team at Animal Dermatology Clinic - Louisville. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our doctors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate nursing care to patients, prioritizing their comfort and well-being
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, clearly communicating with clients and medical staff
  • Assist with medical procedures, including phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, and anesthetic induction
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient information and treatment plans
  • Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment

Requirements

  • College or college-equivalent education as a Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant
  • Previous experience in a veterinary facility, with a focus on dermatology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities

Some traveling is required, with occasional visits to our satellite locations in Evansville, IN and Lexington, KY.
