Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the meat department and surrounding areas.
  • Meet sales goals by effectively merchandising and promoting meat products.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking meat products, including rotating stock and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display of meat products.
  • Assist with special projects and events, such as in-store promotions and product demonstrations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the meat department or a related field.
  • Knowledge of meat products and cutting techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
