Diesel Fleet Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Fleet Technician II to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles, including inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Work with our drivers and dispatch team to ensure that vehicles are properly maintained and ready for service.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies to ensure that our fleet remains safe and efficient.

• 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in diesel fleet maintenance and repair.
• ASE certifications in automotive or medium/heavy duty trucks (preferred).
• Knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEMs and component manufacturers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
