UNFI is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate - Trailer Preparation Specialist to join our Distribution team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of trailers for route or repair.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and clean trailers to ensure they are in good working condition
- Prepare and stage trailers for route or repair, including washing and deodorizing
- Check and maintain equipment, including reefer units and yard trucks
- Assist fleet mechanics with basic maintenance and repairs
- Document equipment usage and maintenance activities
- System implementation experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of safety guidelines
- Dependable and responsible team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate power washers and other cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
