Job Title: Class A Delivery Driver

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a Class A Delivery Driver role available in Jessup, MD. As a key member of our transportation group, you will play a crucial role in helping us continue to grow our business.

Job Summary:

The Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops, delivering merchandise to customer-designated locations. This position requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a 53' truck or smaller
  • Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect the truck before and after trips
  • Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude
Qualifications:
  • A valid commercial driver's license
  • Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to pass a DOT medical exam
  • A good driving record
  • 1 year of recent CDL A experience
  • 1 year of route delivery experience
  • 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
  • Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
  • Lift gate experience
  • Strong work ethic
