Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Helper to support our team of electricians in various tasks related to commercial electrical installations. The ideal candidate will have past experience in commercial electrical field and a willingness to learn and grow to develop their skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial project settings.
  • Perform tasks such as running conduit, pulling wire, and mounting electrical boxes.
  • Support in troubleshooting electrical issues under the guidance of experienced electricians.
  • Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of frame carpentry techniques would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience as a commercial electrician helper is advantageous.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions closely.
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of building codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code).
  • Proficiency in using related tools and equipment.
  • Capability to read and understand electrical blueprints.
  • Dependable transportation and ability to arrive on time, ready to work.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs+, climb ladders, work in both climate controlled and non climate controlled spaces.
  • Capable of taking instruction and working independently.

Working Conditions:

No less than 40 hours per week.
