About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at Saint Joseph East. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in preparing the operating room for various surgeries, ensuring that all necessary instrumentation and sterilization are in place.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization
  • Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you'll be supporting
  • Adapt to the needs of emergency situations
  • Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year perioperative services experience
