Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Calais, Maine. This 13-week assignment offers a rewarding opportunity to provide quality respiratory care services to patients of all age groups, both inpatient and outpatient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services and testing within the scope of practice
  • Attend in-service training and continuing education activities
  • Perform all therapeutic respiratory care procedures
  • Operate and manage adult, pediatric, and neonatal mechanical ventilation
  • Conduct and interpret EKGs, pulmonary function tests (PFTs), and cardiac stress testing
  • Interpret basic cardiac arrhythmias

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Current Respiratory Care Practitioners License, State of Maine
  • National Board for Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligible to sit for the RRT exam within one year
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Optional Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

About the Role:

This Respiratory Therapist role requires an individual with extensive knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is approximately $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
