Prestige Fleet Services is a leading provider of mobile truck and trailer maintenance and repair services. We understand the importance of efficient fleet maintenance and are committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough repairs and inspections on a variety of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, and more.
- Coordinate and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections, to ensure compliance and optimal vehicle performance.
- Repair and replace vehicle and trailer components as needed, utilizing a range of tools and equipment.
- Manage repair orders and documentation, including DOT forms and other required paperwork, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Source and procure parts from local vendors, maintaining inventory levels on the service truck.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel repair, with a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Self-motivated individual with strong organizational and planning skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in utilizing computer and tablet technology for electronic processing of work orders, including labor hours and work order statuses.
Salary: $25 - $35/hr, commensurate with experience.
