Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Eberspaecher. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, including robots and automated machinery. This role requires a strong background in maintenance and repair, with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement repairs as needed.
  • Collaborate with the controls engineering team to resolve chronic reliability problems and improve equipment performance.
  • Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure equipment efficiency.
  • Assist with the installation and repair of electrical and electronic components, including wiring and transformers.
  • Work with automated weld equipment and robotically welded products to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, with a focus on industrial automation and robotics.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Motoman or Siemens robotic programming.
  • 2+ years of experience with automated weld equipment.
  • 3+ years of experience working in an industrial automated environment.
