Position Summary:

The Warehouse Laborer/RPC Sorter plays a crucial role in the logistics process by hand sorting reusable plastic containers based on manufacturer and size. These containers, known as Returnable Plastic Containers (RPCs), are essential for shipping various goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently hand stack RPCs onto pallets, adhering to inventory control guidelines.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness by removing trash and debris before returning containers to customers.
  • Wrap and secure sorted pallets for shipment.
  • Transport pallets or materials within the storage facility.
  • Accurately complete all production documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Strong math, language, and reading skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • High level of awareness to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions for record-keeping.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
