Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will execute one or a combination of various general radiographic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.

Your responsibilities will include conducting tests on in-patients and out-patients using a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.

Responsibilities in This Role:

  • Conduct all nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Receive radioactive materials, prepare doses, and maintain radiation records.
  • Perform all tasks associated with the rotation of the hot lab area.
  • Utilize established radiation safety techniques and equipment.
  • Handle all related duties such as scheduling and charging exams.
  • Be available for emergency after-hours calls on a rotating basis.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA accredited nuclear medicine program or an accredited radiologic technology school is required.
  • Current license with the State of Texas, ARRT and/or NMTCB license is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification is required. A minimum of one year of prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
