Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse. As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care and supporting the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and fetal heart rate.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
- Document patient information and care provided in the medical record.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
