Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mid-level Test Fixture Assembler and Validator to join our team. This role involves assembling and validating test fixtures and equipment, conducting dynamic and static testing according to governmental regulations (NHTSA). The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of basic physics, electronics, and computer literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble test fixtures according to production orders
  • Evaluate and test fixtures prior to shipment
  • Assist in standard production assembly of test dummies, including determining the centre of gravity (CG)
  • Perform experimental or developmental testing according to specifications set by the Engineering staff
  • Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly
  • Support customer training and inspect final assembly products for shipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of blueprints, electronic wiring, and mechanical ability
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability
  • Soldering skills, data entry skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Estimated Salary: $67,500 - $87,000 per year
