Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Long Term Care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our residents. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of our residents are met.

About the Unit

Burk 1 is a 17-bed long-term care unit where residents permanently reside. Our team provides care for chronic and acute illnesses, including chronic trach patients. We offer a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing various medical procedures
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Assume leadership roles as needed to ensure smooth unit operations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma in nursing from an accredited school
  • A valid LPN license and AHA BLS CPR certification
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine
