Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a correctional facility setting. As an LPN/LVN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Physician or Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:- Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Apply and change dressings as needed.
- Administer medications and injections according to physician instructions.
- Implement medical plans through administering medications and interventions.
- Document nursing encounters, patient responses, and effectiveness of care.
- Communicate with supervisory personnel and physicians regarding patient care.
- Observe, record, and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in patient condition.
- 1-2 years of recent experience in a healthcare setting.
- Corrections experience preferred.
- BLS certification.
- Active State nursing license.
