Job Overview:
  • 6-8 years of experience in IT with a focus on Testing and Automation utilizing Java and Groovy.

  • Familiarity with Databricks, on-premises solutions, Structured Streaming, Delta Lake concepts, and Delta Live Tables is essential.
  • Experience in Spark Scala and Java programming.
  • Knowledge of Data Lake concepts including time travel, schema evolution, and optimization.
  • Proven experience in leading and architecting enterprise-wide initiatives, particularly in automation testing for ETL processes and various testing phases, including data migration and transformation.
  • Understanding of streaming data pipelines and their distinctions from batch systems.
  • Knowledge of ETL and ELT processes, including tools like Data Migration Service.
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks such as Great Expectations is a plus.
  • Advanced SQL skills (Joins, Aggregation, Windowing functions, Common Table Expressions, RDBMS schema design, and performance optimization).
  • Experience with indexing and partitioning strategies.
  • Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and implement solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Experience in deploying and testing large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data applications.
  • Architecture experience in AWS environments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda, particularly in data handling and processing at scale, is a bonus.
  • Experience with GitLab and CloudWatch, with the capability to maintain GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of AWS Lambdas for configuration and optimization, along with experience in S3.
  • Familiarity with Schema Registry and message formats such as Avro and ORC.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in communicating the benefits and limitations of technology solutions to partners, stakeholders, team members, and senior management.
