As a Private Duty Pediatric Nurse with Elara Caring, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children in the comfort of their own homes. Our mission is to provide unparalleled care, and we need dedicated and compassionate clinicians like you to help us achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes, working under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Participate in the development of individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and reporting to Field Nursing Supervisors.
- Deliver health education to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Accept and enter verbal and written orders from physicians, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Follow up with physicians, patients, family members, and staff to address concerns and maintain open communication.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- Active nurse license in the state of Connecticut or compact license.
- Minimum 6 months of LPN pediatric experience, with a preference for LPN home health experience.
- Reliable transportation to perform job duties.
- Dedication to delivering high-quality patient care.
Reporting Structure
You will report to the Clinical Team Manager, who will provide guidance and support to ensure your success in this role.
