Position Overview:

The Registered Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for executing daily clinical functions within the Echocardiography Laboratory. This includes conducting Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiograms, as well as performing Contrast Studies utilizing Definity, Bubble Studies, Stress Echocardiograms, and Chemical Stress Echocardiograms.

In addition, the role encompasses the preliminary analysis of echocardiographic studies, focusing on the evaluation of ventricular performance, and providing support during transesophageal procedures.

The sonographer will employ 2D, M-Mode, and Doppler imaging techniques to assess and document relevant anatomical, pathological, and functional information, thereby aiding in the diagnosis and management of patients.

The responsibilities also entail evaluating patients, formulating a strategy for executing the prescribed procedures, preparing the examination room and necessary equipment, and ensuring the acquisition of high-quality images.


Key Responsibilities:
