Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Jobot. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and executing construction projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects within the given budget and timeline.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to determine project specifications and to establish project plans and deadlines.
  • Review and analyze blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure project feasibility.
  • Manage and oversee the delivery of materials and equipment to construction sites and ensure their proper storage and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure that all parts of the project are in sync and are moving forward according to plan.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensuring that construction activities align with safety standards and building regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, and local and state regulations are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in project engineering, construction management, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in project management and contract management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and draft technical specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an advantage.
