Role Overview:

We are looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Training Specialist to oversee the management and administration of our Aircraft Maintenance and Reliability Programs. This role involves conducting training sessions for both our employees and maintenance vendors, covering aircraft-specific and non-technical training. You will collaborate with various departments, including Maintenance, Quality Control, Engineering, and Technical Services, to develop and enhance training curricula.

Key Responsibilities:

Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
  • Create effective training content using the latest tools and methods, ensuring compliance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
  • Maintain special authorization training programs as directed by management.
  • Review training programs to ensure alignment with FAA and company standards.
  • Assist in planning and developing training initiatives under the guidance of the Tech Ops training manager.
  • Conduct all tasks safely and efficiently, adhering to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Classification: Full-time, Exempt
Qualifications:
  • Two to five years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Flexible hours to accommodate maintenance schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Airframe and Powerplant license.
  • Experience with B737NG.
  • General Familiarization with B737NG.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Instructor.
Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position require regular communication and the ability to stand, walk, and use hands frequently. Occasionally, the role may require sitting, climbing, or balancing. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
