Prime Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join its team at Saint Clare's Health. As a member of our award-winning team, you will play a critical role in the coordination and implementation of the hospital's Chemical Dependency Program.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the coordination and implementation of the hospital's Chemical Dependency Program
- Providing direct services to patients and their families
- Performing treatment coordination duties for assigned patients in the Program
- Regular liaison with members of the treatment team, discharge planning and aftercare follow-up and marketing with community agencies and professionals
Qualifications:
- BA Degree in Psychology or human services related field required
- CADC certification or LCADC License recognized in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in psychiatric, chemical dependency or residential treatment facility preferred
- Experience in counseling chemically dependent adults and their family members and/or significant others
- Working knowledge of the 12-Step Program
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
