Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver Class A or B to join our team at Reeb Millwork. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck to deliver merchandise within a specified delivery area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures, including DOT regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspection of the truck and the load
  • Handle paperwork with customer's receiver, following procedures to assure accuracy of product delivered and received
  • Follow loading techniques as truck is unloaded to assure items are not damaged in-route
  • Collect COD payments and maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations
  • Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the truck, both inside and out
  • Represent Reeb Millwork in a professional manner

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Drivers License - Class A or Class B and DOT Certification Card required
  • Safe driver history/record required for insurance and liability reasons
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Ability to read a tape measure and understand millwork measurements
  • Good hand and eye coordination
  • Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor

Education and Experience

High School or better. 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
