Position Summary:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) serves as the principal executive leader of The Krizner Group, overseeing the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of the organization.

The CEO collaborates closely with the Board of Directors and member organizations to further the mission of The Krizner Group.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:
• Formulate and execute strategic initiatives that align with the objectives of The Krizner Group.
• Provide innovative and strategic direction to staff and affiliated organizations.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

Advocacy and Public Policy:
• Act as a representative for The Krizner Group in legislative and policy discussions, advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.
• Establish and nurture relationships with policymakers, government entities, and other advocacy groups.
• Remain informed about advancements in disability rights and independent living initiatives.

Fundraising and Development:
• Create and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, encompassing grants, individual contributions, and corporate partnerships.
• Build and sustain relationships with current and potential donors.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of grant applications and reports.

Financial Management:
• Ensure effective financial management practices, including budget development, monitoring, and reporting.
• Maintain accountability for the organization’s financial stability.
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to secure adequate funding and ensure financial sustainability.

Program Oversight:
• Supervise the design, implementation, and assessment of The Krizner Group's programs and services.
• Ensure alignment of programs with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives.
• Support member organizations in delivering high-quality programs and services.

Community and Public Relations:
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for The Krizner Group.
• Advocate for the organization’s mission and programs to the public, stakeholders, and media.
• Enhance the public image of The Krizner Group to foster interest and support.

Board Governance:
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to fulfill the organization’s mission.
• Communicate effectively with the Board, providing timely and accurate information for informed decision-making.
• Assist in the development and engagement of board members.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit Management, Business Administration, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in a non-profit organization, ideally within the disability services or advocacy sectors.
• Proven experience in public policy advocacy and legislative processes.
• Strong financial management capabilities, including budget preparation and oversight.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising and development initiatives.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and public speaking abilities.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to the mission and values of The Krizner Group.

• Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including employment laws, non-profit organization regulations, and financial management standards.
