We are seeking a qualified substitute teacher to join our team at Pearson School (Grades 3-6).

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing general education classrooms using lesson plans left by the teacher, assisting the principal and coaches as assigned, and providing support to students as needed.

Qualifications
  • Certified teachers preferred
  • Graduates with a BA or BS
  • Valid Driver's License
Working Conditions

The substitute teacher will be assigned to the school every school day with seven hours of instruction, one prep period, and a half-hour lunch daily.

Requirements
  • Must pass federal and local background checks
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must complete all pre-employment requirements before the start date
