Trailer Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Trailer Technician to join our team at Adams Industries, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our trailer fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on trailers and rental equipment, including welding and fabrication, wheel end maintenance, and structural repairs.
- Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance jobs and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand, power, and shop tooling to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
- Assist in the movement of trailers and equipment as requested by management, including loading and unloading equipment.
- Perform new trailer setup and pre-delivery inspection checklists to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with our maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Perform other duties as requested by management to ensure the overall success of the maintenance department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or related field.
- Equipment operator experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently and up to 75 pounds infrequently.
- Acceptable background and clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days of employment.
