Trailer Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Trailer Technician to join our team at Adams Industries, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our trailer fleet.

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on trailers and rental equipment, including welding and fabrication, wheel end maintenance, and structural repairs.
• Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance jobs and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Operate and maintain a variety of hand, power, and shop tooling to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
• Assist in the movement of trailers and equipment as requested by management, including loading and unloading equipment.
• Perform new trailer setup and pre-delivery inspection checklists to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with our maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
• Perform other duties as requested by management to ensure the overall success of the maintenance department.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or related field.
• Equipment operator experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently and up to 75 pounds infrequently.
• Acceptable background and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a CDL within 90 days of employment.
