Cost Accountant

Tanner Memorial Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to the finance team.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $58,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience. Located in Layton, UT, the role involves working independently with minimal supervision and requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Excel.

• Prepare and analyze financial data, including cost allocations, reimbursement rates, and rebate eligibility.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Stark Law.
• Provide support to the finance team, including reviewing invoices and collaborating with the purchasing department.
• Conduct detailed cost analyses on medical procedures to properly cost account expenses.
• Develop recommendations for improving financial performance.

• Associate's degree in accounting or 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong Excel spreadsheet software skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
