Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at the University of Kentucky. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and therapies in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures and therapies according to departmental, hospital, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and technologies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nuclear Med Tech certification.
  • Associate's degree in radiology and/or nuclear medicine.
  • Ability to lift and pull weight greater than 50 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in radiology and/or nuclear medicine.
  • Three years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technician.
