Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists with prescription filling, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information.
  • Ensure a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including restocking shelves and disposing of expired or damaged medications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and perform tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
