Symitar Programmer II

The Symitar Programmer II is a key member of our technology team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Symitar core processing applications and related software systems.
This role requires a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles, as well as proficiency in Symitar PowerOn and HTML/JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and implement Symitar PowerOn solutions
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements and optimizations
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Symitar applications
- Document technical designs, processes, and procedures
- 3+ years of experience in Symitar programming and development
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proficiency in Symitar PowerOn and HTML/JavaScript
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
