OB Technologist

Role Summary:

As an OB Technologist at Main Line Health, you will play a vital role in the delivery room, providing personal care and comfort to patients. You will scrub for surgical procedures, restock supplies, clean and prepare rooms, transport patients, and complete tasks for the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional patient care by providing a safe and supportive environment for patients in the delivery room.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and efficient operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by restocking supplies, cleaning, and preparing rooms.
• Transport patients safely and efficiently to and from the delivery room.
• Complete tasks for the healthcare team, including administrative and clinical duties.

Requirements:

• Previous surgical tech or patient care technician experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a surgical technologist program sponsored by an entity holding nationally recognized institutional or programmatic accreditation, or through the US Army, Navy, or Air Force.
• Certification preferred if surgical technician training occurred on or before 12/29/2020 and candidate practiced clinically at any time during the two preceding years.
