Job Summary

About the Role

As a member of our Burn Center ICU team, you will be responsible for direct care in a technically complex environment, adhering to AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards. Clinical Educators will support your individualized education and training, ensuring competency validation throughout clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care in ICU, utilizing the nursing process to deliver top-notch care.
  • Prioritizes wellness and a patient perspective to achieve exceptional outcomes.
  • Models proficiency through precepting new colleagues and welcoming innovative knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care.


Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must possess:A graduate degree from an accredited or state board of nursing-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).6 months of ICU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
