Job Description

As a Travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and performing ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms and obstetric ultrasounds
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including adjusting settings and taking images
  • Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and develop treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Graduation from an accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, and push, bend, and pull
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
