Recreational Therapist Job Opportunity

Health Advocates Network is seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at a facility in California.

Job Details:

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient needs and develop targeted therapeutic programs
  • Collaborate with patients, loved ones, and medical professionals to create personalized care plans
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Stay up-to-date on community resources and therapeutic best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Recreational Therapist within the last 36 months
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and demonstrate a compassionate demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and a valid CPR card
  • Certification from the National Council for Therapeutic Certification (NCTRC) or the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification (CBRPC)

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $71.00
  • Independent contractor status with 1099 benefits
