Regions Hospital is seeking a Music Therapist to work in a part-time, benefit-eligible position. This role will involve providing music therapy services in a professional and compassionate manner, utilizing music therapy techniques appropriate for individual patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for documentation of services provided, communication with referral sources and other treating providers, as needed. They will also participate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team, providing education to patients and families regarding treatment and follow-up, and referring patients for additional integrative therapies when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's, Master's degree or equivalency in music therapy from a college or university accredited by the American Music Therapy Association, as well as experience providing music therapy in a hospital and/or healthcare setting. Current board certification from the Certification Board for Music Therapists or a passing score on the Board Certification Examination awaiting certification is also required.
