Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate proficiency in handling a range of securities including Equities, Bonds, ABS, MBS, and Securitized Products.
  • Project Involvement: Participate in industry-wide initiatives, particularly those focused on settlements and clearing functions, including T+3 and T+2 projects.
  • Experience Spectrum: Bring 12 to 15+ years of experience across roles from Front Office to Back Office, encompassing finance and risk management.
  • Middle Office Systems: Work with collateral management and middle office systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Client Systems: Familiarity with systems such as Finpro, BPS, and Impact is preferred.
  • Operational Streamlining: Optimize end-to-end operational processes that support securities and derivative products.
  • Reconciliation Management: Conduct thorough testing and reconciliation of Cash, Stock, FOBO, and inter-system processes, aiding in the investigation and refinement of delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a QA coordinator/manager with a proven history of effective stakeholder management.
  • QA Methodologies: Exhibit a strong grasp of QA methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including both Agile and Waterfall approaches.
  • Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience in Test Strategy, Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Execution, and Defect Management.
  • Test Execution: Create and execute comprehensive test scenarios and cases, including functional, regression, and data-driven testing, while meeting established SLAs.
  • Business Analysis: Independently review and analyze business requirements, assessing data sources and business rules.
  • SQL Proficiency: Strong understanding of SQL concepts, with experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases.
  • Control M and SSIS: Experience in running jobs independently is preferred.
  • Data Management: Familiarity with Data Warehouse and Data Lake concepts, particularly in MS Azure, is advantageous.
  • Testing Tools: Proficient in using testing tools such as JIRA, Test Rail, and TestNG.
  • Automation Skills: Automation experience in Java, Selenium, Maven, and IntelliJ IDEA is a plus.
