Job Summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation Parker Aerospace Group is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of manufacturing professionals to achieve exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of approximately 30 manufacturing professionals to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Value Stream Manager to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including supply chain optimization, production control, and manufacturing priorities.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and drive quality improvements through the use of tools like the Parker Lean system and Win Strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a positive team atmosphere, promoting employee empowerment and continuous improvement.
  • Work with the Value Stream Manager to create a future state value stream map and manage plans to achieve it.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of education, training, and equivalent experience leading manufacturing teams.
  • 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Sufficient background in accounting, PC skills, manufacturing, human resource management, and inventory control.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and teambuilding skills, with the ability to assess and develop individual and team skills and capabilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with LEAN teams or leading LEAN teams is preferred.
