A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician (IV Technician) to join our team in Concord, NH. As a Pharmacy Technician (IV Technician), you will work in a high-risk pharmacy environment, preparing sterile compounding orders and syringes for Alere, high-risk pregnant women.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain sterile compounding room and QA as per USP 797 guidelines
- Work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, filling prescriptions and preparing sterile compounding according to standards of quality, customer service, productivity guidelines, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Knowledge of Long-Term Care and Alere high-risk pregnancy medications
- Stage, prepare, and fill orders for residents at long-term care facilities and Alere
- Compound sterile compounding orders and syringes for Alere in a Class 100 clean room
- Data entry and assist pharmacist with calling nursing homes and/or Alere for refill orders
- Maintain, clean, and account for pumps, file, answer phones, and stock areas in the IV department
- Work with Lead IV Technician to maintain a clean/safe work environment, check equipment for calibration, safety, and cleanliness
- Replenish and maintain Emergency Drug Kits (EDK) provided to Long Term Care Facilities
- Communicate with Pharmacist or Supervisor, or Lead Technician with any concerns regarding USP 797 and Operations
- New Hampshire Pharmacy Technician License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
This is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs. The required availability for this position is Shift 2:30pm - 11pm, possible weekends.
