Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to a safe and quality-focused environment by identifying and reporting potential safety risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Precept new staff members and provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- At least 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
