Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Adagio Health Inc. in Indiana, PA.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a healthcare setting and possess excellent communication skills.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the Role
As a Medical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical staff, including scheduling appointments, taking vitals, and performing venipuncture and injections.
You will also assist with procedures, ensure top-notch patient care, and facilitate referrals within and outside the organization.
Your role extends beyond our clinic walls as you interact with patients, families, and community partners to promote healthy behaviors and provide education on wellness and prevention.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent hospital program, or a minimum of one year of direct patient care experience.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology, examination, diagnostic, and treatment room responsibilities.
- Local travel required.
