Medical Assistant II Certified

The Medical Assistant II Certified provides clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers and teams in an outpatient setting. This role requires a strong foundation in medical assisting, with a focus on patient care, communication, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine clinical and administrative tasks, including rooming patients, collecting data, and assisting with treatments and procedures.
- Collect and process patient information, including medical and social history, medication lists, and allergies.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care activities, including administering medications and performing tests.
- Provide patient education and support, including after-visit instructions and self-care guidance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- Medical Assistant certification by a recognized organization, such as the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or the National Health Career Association (CCMA).
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).
- At least one year of full-time experience as a Medical Assistant, Certified.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on patient-centered care.
