Facilities Engineer, Peterson SFB, CO

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to provide support for our client in Colorado. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities engineering and experience with project management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for facilities projects, including identification, development, and preparation of project plans and budgets.
- Perform data entry and quality assurance for assigned projects using Enterprise Business System (EBS) and other relevant tools.
- Work with customers to define project requirements, prepare cost estimates, and draft project documents.
- Coordinate with governmental personnel to ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assess project costs and develop cost estimates using Air Force Instruction (AFI) guidelines.
- Complete project requirements in accordance with Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) business rules and policies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a facility-related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a facility design engineer or construction project manager.
- Experience developing programming documents and knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques.
- Experience with NEXGEN IT system and SMS tools.
- Ability to follow established project-related procedures and complete established project milestones.
- Knowledge of Federal, state, and/or local regulations and statutes, as well as Air Force or DoD regulations and documentation.
- Ability to obtain a favorable Tier 1 clearance required for a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
