About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Lignetics Inc. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move products, equipment, and materials within our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials within the warehouse, ensuring efficient and safe movement.
- Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition, performing routine checks and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
- Stack and organize inventory in a neat and orderly fashion, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
- Participate in daily cleaning and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Assist other production areas as needed, providing support and contributing to the overall success of the team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior forklift experience and production line experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with good eye-hand-foot coordination and ability to concentrate for extended periods.
- Must be able to pass the company's forklift training program and maintain certification.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and interpret scales.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
