We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Security Assessment Specialist to become a vital member of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and support clients through the complete Lifecycle Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.
  • Assist clients in the formulation of a comprehensive System Security Plan.
  • Employ commercial and government tools, along with tailored procedures, to detect, manage, and resolve vulnerabilities and security breaches.
  • Oversee, monitor, and report on the status of systems awaiting assessment.
  • Facilitate technical security evaluations of computing environments to pinpoint vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with established Information Assurance (IA) standards, recommending strategies for mitigation.
  • Collaborate with architects and service developers to identify and implement suitable information security measures and functionalities, ensuring consistent application of security policies and enterprise solutions.
  • Generate and assess A&A Body of Evidence (BOE) documentation, providing clear evaluations of compliance for client use in A&A adjudication.
  • Design and establish secure interfaces among external systems and architectures.
  • Validate and confirm system security requirements and develop security designs for controls.
  • Design, develop, and integrate IA and security systems across various environments, including networking, computing, virtualization, and cloud settings.
  • Incorporate IA into systems and services deployed in operational environments across multiple classification levels.
  • Identify potential intrusion attempts and compromises through detailed analysis of relevant event data.
  • Evaluate and mitigate security threats and risks throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Contribute to security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and awareness initiatives for system and network operations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree, which can substitute for four years of experience.
  • Relevant certifications are advantageous.

Clearance Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • A TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • A polygraph examination is necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Frequent operation of a computer and other office equipment.
  • Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
