We are seeking a seasoned law enforcement professional to join our team as a Police Officer in the City of Homer, Alaska. This critical role involves patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergency calls, and providing exceptional service to our community.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with the public. A solid understanding of law enforcement policies, procedures, and protocols is also essential.

Responsibilities:

• Pursue and apprehend suspects, conduct investigations, and gather evidence to support criminal cases.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services to individuals in need.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with departmental standards.
• Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and effective outcomes.
